What do you do when Buffalo Trace Distillery donates single-barrel select bourbon to your organization? You throw a "friend-raiser" and invite your buddies over! Recently GPiH CEO Ian Vickers headed out to Colorado Springs to join GPiH donors Darek and Anna Barnes (and their friends) in hosting an evening of bourbon sipping and story telling around our work in under-served regions of French-speaking West Africa. We are so grateful to Darek and Anna for opening their home and their contact lists to help GPiH invite others to join our mission of providing clean sources of drinking water and health care to women and children. New friends were raised and new partners joined the GPiH donor community. Even better, new passions were stirred for our work in West Africa. Now that's a great party!
